Feb 13 : Prompt: If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.

 If I had to describe how I show my love using only 3 objects it would be 

1. Candy 

2. Crochet 

3. Playlists 

The reason It would be these 3 is because I tend to show I care through material objects, mainly because I like buying things and I have a problem at times, (not all the time, because sometimes I don't like to spend money at all), where I tend to go overspending , but also because sometimes I'll look at something and It will remind me of a certain person. For example for of my friends I bought her a notebook for Valentine's day because I remembered how she said she wanted to start journaling again, and I think it's something really intimate to be reminded of someone when you see something. The 2nd would be crochet, although I don't crochet as much anymore I did gift a lot of crochet last year, ( A Marshmallow, A Capybara with hats, a Spider man, flowers,etc.) It definitely takes a lot more time than buying things but its nice to see their faces when it's completed(although sometimes the figure comes out looking wonky). The 3rd one isn't really a material thing, but I used to have a playlist with someone where we made a playlist and added songs that reminded us of each other. I think it was really sweet because you can hear a song and think "oh that reminds me of them because maybe the song is really cheerful just like them, or maybe the song is just really nice to listen too, etc. 

Today during class we wrote a poem inside a heart to a person we care about.

Feb 4(Block Day) - Prompt: What is the most challenging part of working in a group? Discuss a time when a group assignment did not go as well as you planned and how you learned from that experience.

 The most challenging part of working in a group is when a group member does not want to contribute ideas, and you're unsure what to do. Freshmen year I had a group project but I had been absent due to me getting sick, so the next day I showed up I had to get into another group. The group was all the people who were absent frequently. When I tried to ask for ideas no one answered, one just went to sleep, making it more difficult for us to move forward. So I made up an idea and started planning subtopics, and I assigned it to them. It wasn't hard just adding images to slides or adding random details about information I had collected. However no one did anything, one girl kept texting her boyfriend the entire time but when the teacher came around she would pretend to be productive, which the teacher fell for. Feb 9 : Prompt : Prompt: In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life).

 My perfect day spent with someone is going to the park and having a picnic. It's fun to be able to talk through a picnic and eat something they might've prepared or brought because it exemplifies a part of them. In a way it shows something fun about them, like maybe they bring something totally unexpected or they might remember your favorite food or it might just be something new to try, It's also fun getting up and being able to walk around the park where there are birds and squirrels hopping about. At the same time it might also not be fun during summer with the mosquitoes which tend to target me.    Today in class we completed the first discussion. The first discussion was on chapter 10, where we learn a bit more about Cheryl's step dad and his role in Cheryl's life before and after the death of her mother.
